I trussed This article describes a procedure that allows Dunca Eppingla have USB on vSphere
Starting from a Windows PC all:
- Download the VMware Player
- Download ESXi
- Install VMware Player (next / previous / finish)
- Create a new VM and connecting to the ESXi iso
- attach the USB to PC.
- Booting from CD with the iso ESXi
- connect the usb to the VM and select "mass storage device"
- Select the USB key when "Select a Disk"
- Next, Next, Finish
At this point a generic installation of ESXi on USB 4.0 will be residing.
