Akcune sections of the Cisco ASA configurations are hashed (account / enable passwords, pre-shared keys, etc..).
Asterisks are visulizzate but written in the configuration file and are hidden when you do show run (in the configuration are as clear as clear facento wr net).
Visualizing the configuration with the blackberries linux will see it clear:
